The Wildlife Management and Tourism Conference 2024 (WMTC24) represents a pivotal moment in the discourse on the symbiotic relationship between wildlife conservation and sustainable tourism. Hosted by the Department of Wildlife Management and Tourism Studies at the University of Namibia, within the KAZA – Kavango Zambezi Trans-frontier Conservation Area, this esteemed event aims to address the urgent issues facing wildlife management and explore innovative strategies for fostering sustainable tourism practices. As the global community faces challenges such as habitat loss, species extinction, and the impact of tourism on natural ecosystems, WMTC24 offers a vital platform for experts, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange knowledge and develop actionable solutions.
