UNAM Council (2026 – 2029)
The University of Namibia (UNAM) announces the appointment of its new Council, approved by Cabinet and confirmed by the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture (MEIYSAC).
The Council serves from 11 June 2026 to 31 May 2029.
The Council brings together distinguished leadership across various industries, including finance, higher education, technology, energy, banking and public administration. Together they offer the breadth of expertise, institutional depth and strategic vigour to advance UNAM’s mandate. The University thanks the MEIYSAC and welcomes its Council members.
