About UNAM IEC-2026

The UNAM International Engineering Conference (UNAM IEC) on Sustainable and Resilient Engineering Systems is an annual international engineering conference organized by the School of Engineering and the Built Environment, University of Namibia (UNAM). The conference provides a high-level forum for academics, researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to present, discuss, and advance innovative engineering solutions addressing contemporary global challenges. Following the successful inaugural edition (UNAM IEC-2024), the conference now continues as an annual flagship international event, reinforcing UNAM’s commitment to impactful research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and global knowledge exchange.


Publication Track Record

All papers presented at UNAM IEC-2024, following revisions informed by conference discussions and post-conference peer review, were successfully published in SCOPUS-indexed and other reputable, well-indexed journals. This track record underscores the academic rigor, international relevance, and quality standards of UNAM IEC, and affirms the conference as a credible platform for disseminating high-quality engineering research to a global audience.
