Are you looking to learn modern, internationally recognised ICT skills? Or maybe you are interested in boosting your current skills set by adding the latest ICT qualifications to your C.V? If you are looking to achieve any of the above, then the ICT Academy at the University Of Namibia (UNAM) can help you achieve all that and more.
Who we are?
The ICT Academy is the part of UNAM that is authorised to transfer skills and to provide international certifications courses to participants in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The Academy also serves as a Cisco Academy, International Computer Driving License (ICDL) Training and Testing centre. The Academy has worked with various Ministries, Directorates as well as private institutions in order to train staff members and individuals to obtain ICT professional skills and qualifications.
Why get ICT training?
ICT literacy is a key part of operations in most professional organisations nowadays. Employees with proper ICT training are more efficient, can help cut business IT support costs as well as streamline business operations. Additionally, the right ICT training can reduce frustration among staff members. There is nothing worse than battling with a computer to make it do what you want-especially when it can only take a short training session to learn how to do it.
Who should enrol?
Any person or organisation that wishes to improve their computer skills.
What do we offer?
The ICT Academy provides a variety of hands-on-training courses in the field of Information Communication Technology.
