Laboratories and Lecture/classroom facilities
Our Campus has five well-equipped laboratories: two computer laboratories and one each for Physics, Biology and Chemistry. Other sister Campuses as well as surrounding schools regularly make use of our laboratories.
There are several classrooms for use by our students including a brand new lecture hall with a seating capacity of 130 students.
We have a simulation room for the nursing department as well as a video and tele-conferencing room that allows the specialist lecturers to teach students pursuing postgraduate programmes from the main campus.
While the Oshakati Campus Library forms part of the wide UNAM Library systems, it was specifically established to provide quality information services and resources that support research and academic programs offered by the campus. Therefore, this Library occupies a central place in the Oshakati campus’ academic and research activities. It is a hub for intellectual engagement and development, a space where new ideas are conceived, and a space where students and scholars come to seek for answers to difficult questions. We offer both print and electronic resources to meet the information needs of the campus community. Our website www.unam.edu.na/library is an important entry point to access our virtual space. To benefit from the library facilities, services and resources, we invite you to explore not only our physical space but also our virtual space that can offer you multiple and cross-campus access to a seamless web of electronic information resources.
Other Physical Amenities
