By according our students an opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge into practice, will most likely results in the following:
- Better opportunity to influence the curricula;
- Reduced recruitment and training costs;
- Fresh, innovative and new ideas from our students;
- Increase your visibility in the community;
- Foster good relationship with our institutions;
- Enhanced leadership and professional development to your existing staff through supervising student interns.
You can either offer an internship opportunity or assign a student to work on an industry project.
An industry project is useful in cases where an internship placement is not suitable, or you do not have a supervisor to supervise interns’ full time. Students are then assigned a project, and can either work alone or as a team. These projects should be completed under the supervision of the academic staff. You will then be provided with a progress report, and our students get rewarded with marks/credits, and gain project management skills.
